Country: United States
Interests: You know, you just can't list television as a hobby without making yourself sound like a lazy couch potato. However, I do enjoy a good game of softball, so I am not a complete slave to the television.
Expertise: I don't know what to put here that won't make me sound like a thundering loony. Naturally, I am well versed in all things artsy-fartsy. On top of that, I am a hopeless addict to Buffy and Alias. Television just doesn't get much better than that. The Atlanta Braves are naturally the best team in baseball, and my man Keith Lockhart is the bestus of them all.

| I just turned in my last paper. By last I mean my last EVER. That makes me a special level of happy.
Only one more week of classes--I still find it a little scary that I picked up my cap and gown yesterday.
I'm beginning to get sad about Buffy ending. I wasn't originally, but then the last two episodes were awesome and I realized that that show is just awesome.
And holy cow about Alias. INCREDIBLE. I'm just glad that I got over the blinding rage that I originally felt when I saw it. Now I'm just in awe of the genius that is that show.
| My dearest Liz,
Ever have one of those days where you wake up and realize that you will be graduating in about 38 days? Oy. Can't decide whether I am excited, petrified, or finally ready to have that nervous breakdown that I have been putting off for the past several years. Turns out that several of my aunts and uncles will be coming up for the ceremony--nothing like people pitying you to really make you feel good about yourself. So I'm sitting here listening to some good ol Barry Manilow to feel better. Joy.
But enough of that. I got to be the easter bunny at the Flashlight Egg Hunt on saturday. I'm not sure that I have ever been so hot in my entire life. I could actually feel the sweat dripping off of my nose. And let me tell ya, that tickles like nobody's business. But it was fun--got to hug lots of little kids without being considered some scary pervert or something. And I only made two kids cry, which is an improvement over an ordinary day for me. =) The Easter bunny brought me the Trading Spaces: Behind the Scenes book--ti's one of the funniest things that I have ever read.
The senior show opens in about a week and a half. Guess who has the best spots in the gallery? hehe. There is something to be said for being the teacher's pet...
Finally getting to go to a Braves game this weekend! YAY! Although I am more than a little bit upset about the fact that my man, Keith Lockhart, is no longer a Brave, but is now a Padre. But there are worst places he could have ended up. Don't even get me started on Glavine... But anyhow. I know that you really care about the Braves and all.
I'm peeling, it's gross.
But I am off to write a paper about Buddhism and Stoicism. Let's hope that they have a whole lot of similarities--like six pages worth...
| Ok, I officially admit it. I'm procrastinating. I have to give this ten minute presentation tomorrow night of my art work, and I don't want to do it. Don't know what to talk about, don't honestly give a flip, and so I sit here and avoid it. Yup, definitely the best solution to things.
I've decided that apathy is going to be my word for the rest of the term. I could be Apathy Girl, superhero to all college students. It would be fun.
| Wow. Just realized by reading Liz's site that I hadn't updated in a while. Oops. These things happen.
Just got back from three gorgeous days at the beach. I've decided that I want a house there. I went for a run on the beach, and it was all deserted, because who else has spring break in February, and as I was running, these dolphins were out in the water frolicking. It was just absolutely gorgeous. Plus I love getting to spend three days laying around doing absolutely nothing (except for waiting on my mother of course)
Anyhow. Spring term is officially underway. As of May 31st, I am a free woman, off to try to earn a living working part time for Roswell until they open up a full time spot for me. Yay for the Art Center West!
This term is going to be awesome though. I had the most fun day today. In the morning, I got to build a table. Then, in the afternoon I worked on some pottery on the whell, and then after that I moved on to painting. It's so awesome getting to do the things that I want to do all day long while someone else pays to support me! Yay!
I'm going to go visit Jen tomorrow and go rock climbing. I'm excited! Besides, I'm always up for a weekend of fun!
So hi Liz, just wanted to update ya! Have a great day!
| This is going to make it sound like all I do is watch movies, but let me just say that The Recruit was amazing. Like Alias, but with a hot guy as the spy.
But anyhow. I'm starting to notice that all of my friends keep going off and getting engaged. It's like an illness or something. I don't know whether to be sad that I do not fit in with the typical example of a college girl's life, or if I should be proud to be so unique that I defy conformity. I'll have to keep thinking on that one.
I have officially hit the midpoint of my senior year. Scary scary SCARY. Also scary is that my car still hates me and the Chevy people think that I am crazy. (I didn't help matters by arguing with the mechanic about what color my car was--it is so far from green that it is not even funny. Seriously, not a laughing matter)
But anyhow. I'm going to bed now. So, in closing, let me just say HI LIZ!
